Johnson Shut-Ins

Two weeks ago, our family went down to Johnson Shut-ins to spend the afternoon. The weather was perfect, no sun and cool water. We drove down around lunch time, and stayed for four hours, jumping off rocks, climbing, swimming, building dams and just plain having fun!! :D

On our last trip to the library, I checked out a book entitled "The Big Book of Cupcakes" intending to find some recipe with chocolate, and these are the result.

Crocheted Rag Rug #3, #4 and #5

Our family all went through the chicken pox about a month ago, so there was lots of time to work on a couple of the rugs that I had set aside. After digging around I found the balls of fabric and commenced to crocheting three more rag rugs! ;)

An Evening with the Nephews

Yesterday my nephews came over for a evening of fun which included a Nerf war, making water footprints on the deck, and eating popsicles!!! :D

Crocheted Rag Rug #2

Last night I finished my second rag rug!!! Yay! This one was a lot easier and faster than the first one I made here. I went for more pastel colors, and was able to find all of these sheets at different thrift stores.
